This is our current policy towards filtering out objectionable Internet material.

Pornography: Website content containing nudity, sex, erotic material, sexual acts, escort and dating services, or sex education with the exception of Main-stream media accounts of sex crimes, or medical information.

Tasteless content: Excretory functions, tasteless humor, graphic medical photos, human or animal abuse or mutilation, or extreme forms of human body modification.

Free Web Site Hosting: By default, web hosting services that offer home page space for free are filtered. These sites have historically allowed abuse of their services by users who post inappropriate or offensive content under multiple names making it hard to track them. Individual accounts that have been reviewed by Perigee will be allowed. If you would like a URL on one of these domains to be reviewed please fill out the request form.

Hate/Discrimination/Violence: Advocating discrimination against others based on race religion, gender, nationality or sexual orientation. Also, graphic images or descriptions of violence or grave injury such as maiming, dismemberment or mutilation.

Illegal Activities: Advocating, encouraging or giving advice out about acts considered illegal. Examples include fraud, bomb-making, gambling, drugs, pirate software (a.k.a. warez sites) and computer hacking.
