Eudora Email

1. The TOOLS menu and pull down to OPTIONS.
2. If you make any mistakes during the next few steps, simply go to the TOOLS menu in Eudora and pull down to OPTIONS. This will bring your options window back up so that you can re-enter information if necessary. Do not press the OK button until you have entered all of the information below. When you are done entering information in one of the screens, simply click on the next icon down in the column of icons in the left half of your options screen.

• Connection Method: *Winsock [Network, PPP, SLIP]

The Personal Info Icon

• Return Address: yourusername@perigee.net
• Dialup Username: yourusername

The Hosts Icon

• POP Account: yourusername@pop.perigee.net
• SMTP: smtp.perigee.net
• Ph: leave blank
• finger: leave blank
Hit the OK button.

Start your dialer program and dial-in and connect to Perigee. Once you are connected double click on the Eudora mailbox icon to start your email program. It should ask you for your password, enter your password and hit OK. Eudora should automatically check to see if you have any new mail, but if you would like to do it manually, go to your File menu in Eudora and pull down to "Check Mail".

That is it! Your Eudora program should be completely configured, please read the Readme file that came with Eudora if you have any other questions.
